Rotary’s “This Close” public awareness campaign, which aims to ramp up support for the effort to eradicate polio, has drawn the participation of celebrities and public figures worldwide — Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu; violinist Itzhak Perlman; actor Jackie Chan; golfer Jack Nicklaus; musicians Angélique Kidjo and Ziggy Marley; and conservationist Jane Goodall, to name a few.

Now it’s your turn. We invite all Rotarians and friends of Rotary to add their faces and names to the campaign online. At ThisClose.net, you can create your own “This Close” ad, joining a gallery of supporters worldwide. You also can add a personal message of support, check out other gallery images, and see which regions are leading the digital charge to spread awareness of the fight against polio.
