Local reporter visited Grantham Rotary Club:
MORE than £50,000 was raised recently by the Rotary Global
Swimarathon, which spread around the world after being discussed at a
meeting of the Rotary Club of Grantham.
So I decided to go along to one of its lunch-time meetings to see what other inspirational ideas were being formulated.
When I first arrived I was greeted at the door by Roger Graves, who dreamt up the idea of the global swim.
He showed me to my seat ready for lunch where I was welcomed by everyone from the club.
