When we market Rotary through the printed media make sure we focus on marketing what we are doing and not focus on Rotary and Rotarians.
I love photos that show emotion, laughter, joy, amazement and surprise in the eyes of the participants. And this means we need to have close photos.
Then we convey not what Rotary is but more importantly why we are involved in serving others - to make a real impact and difference in their lives.
Remember this the next time you think of submitting photos to the media.
And they love human stories as well.
