Next month this is happening in Taranaki with support of the Rotary Club of New Plymouth North who are organising this annual Charity Event. The main beneficiary for 2013 will be Taranaki Helicopter Rescue Trust. Other beneficiaries will be other Rotary Projects, i.e. Books for Babies, Dictionaries in Schools, Polio Plus and an enclosure for Charlie the parrot at Brooklands Zoo. And of course the local Urenui Community Groups who help the day be successful including Urenui Lions, Urenui Fire Brigade, Surf Life Saving Club.
