Red Nose Day was established in New Zealand in 1989, back
when Cure Kids was known as the Child Health Research Foundation (founded by
Rotary in 1974).
We’ve gone from strength to strength since then, and in
2015 our Red Nose Day appeal will help
us to keep funding research into the illnesses and conditions that affect the
lives of Kiwi kids.
Last year Rotary clubs across New Zealand got involved in
all sorts of activities to make a big contribution to our total on the
day. You connected with everyday Kiwis in
your communities and their generous donations have helped improve or prolong
the lives of many Kiwi kids while we go for the ultimate goal: the cure.
As our Founding Partner we would love to have as many
Rotary Clubs on board as possible, for our big day. Get on board!
Contact Mark Laurence on 027 521 3870 or email him at mark@curekids.org.nz to register your club’s
interest and find out how you can help.
