A constant item on any Club's agenda must be membership. And the most effective way to increase membership is by promoting membership through direct marketing.
This marketing is utlimately the responsibility of each individual Rotarian. Sure, support can be given by the Club and the District through variuous campaigns, but nothing beats a Rotarian saying to another qualified contact: "With your skills and contacts I cannot understand why you are not a member of our Rotary Club Would you like to be my guest at next week's meeting".
What is your way of inviting new members to consider Rotary? Do you have one?
If not, try the one above this week.
I have heard that only 20% of Rotarians have introduced a new member to Rotary. Imagine thie impact if ALL Rotarians were to make a conscious effort THIS WEEK to invite others to attend a meeting to discover the opportunities for volunteering in their community.
We need to market our organisation and the benefits of belonging to others.
And the best time is NOW!!
