Grabbing media opportunities

Are we taking advantage of all the good news that we are involved in at our Clubs?  Are we writing articles and taking good photos and sending them to our local newspapers?  We must grab these opportunities and promote them effectively through our local media.  Each must must have a person who can focus of capturing these events and writing articles and develop good relationships with the local media houses.  This will address the wrong perception many have of our organisation and will revitalise the image of Rotary in our community.

Here is an excellent example:  promoting the development of young people, fostering international relationships, encouraging personal development, developing cultural diversity and highlighting the enjoyment of new friendships.  All this achieved through Rotary International's Youth Exchange programme.

This is what Rotary Clubs do!!
