Our Rotary Foundation continues to do wonderful things around the World.
The Rotary Foundation and UNESCO-IHE has a strategic plan in place to tackle the World's Water and Sanitation crisis by increasing the number of trained professionals to devise, plan and implement solutions in developing and emerging countries.
There are 7 billion people to feed on the planet today and another 2 billion are expected to join by 2050 we each drink 2to 4 litres of water every day; however most of the water we eat is embedded in the food we eat.
There are numerous projects being promoted to assist in this area.
World water day is on the 22 March and World Health Day on the 7th of April.
Now is the perfect time to plan a water health project to assist our Rotary Foundation's plan.
