Rotarians volunteer to change lives

Poignantly shot and untimely relevant, Intersections in the Land of Eternal Spring stars a group of 8 volunteers during a 2-week mission of Rotaplast International in Guatemala in March 2011, and paint an example of the global works of Rotary International.

This movie tributes the work of Rotarian volunteers who put their lives on hold to give their time to others, everyday heroes who make the world a better place. Through the Schoenfeld's eyes, we travel through the whole spectrum of humanity, feeling sadness, generosity, compassion. We meet so many different people of any age, from any place, having any job, but sharing one common goal: fighting together to offer their children a better life.
Rotary is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million people providing humanitarian service and help build goodwill and peace in the world. There are 33,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas which develop initiatives like Rotaplast International, a non-profit humanitarian organization providing free reconstructive operations and treatment for children in need worldwide.
