It was great to be able to present at South Pacific PETS (President Elect Training) yesterday - over 300 incoming Presidents with the support of the Assistant Governors spent the weekend in Auckland training. My presentation of Public Image was well received and every Club has been encouraged to roll their sleeves up and engage with social media. I will be running a series of webinars on the use of Facebook, etc in the coming months - there will be a survey to establish people's training needs. Presidents were also encouraged to post on Rotary Showcase and to also join the World's Biggest Commercial.
As the Rotary Public Image Coordinators for New Zealand, the South Pacific Islands and Australia, we are keen to communicate regularly using this Blog. It will contain the latest Public Image news. We need to enhance our Public Image. It is our task to facilitate this and one method is using the Blog. We will be updating it on a regular basis. Do check it out and add the link to your Club web site and Bulletin. [PDG Leanne Jaggs (Zone 7b) & Wendy Gabroit (Zone 8)]
