All roads leading to Lisbon

Our travels thus far have taken us from the hot, humid Singapore with modern architecture and the Asian cultures to France where we have enjoyed the rich culture of the people and fallen in love with Provence.  We have met up with my good friend PDG Nicolas Spillman and lovely wife Francois and stayed in their home in Apt.  And why?
Because Jenny and I, like many Rotarians, are heading to Lisbon to the International convention of Rotary.  This is our third such convention and is an experience all Rotarians should have.  We are part of an organisation that has and continues to make a huge impact for good in our world.  At Convention we see the countries represented and hear of what we are achieving around the world, both on plenary sessions as well as well targeted breakout sessions.
I have been asked this year to moderate one of these sessions on Effective use of Public Image Grants with an international panel with wonderful case studies of how they have been effective in Africa, South Africa as well as England.
Today we leave France, stop off in Barcelona for three days joining up with close Rotarian friends, and then travelling to Lisbon.
What about making plans to attend the Convention in Sydney next year?
