Dear President Warwick and members of the Rotary Club of Otahuhu:
It is always hard to express most adequately the depth of gratitude Rotarians across the six New Zealand Rotary districts have for those amongst them who accept without hesitation a task to be undertaken for the benefit of those who they will never meet. The members, spouses, partners and supporters of the Rotary Club of Otahuhu are one such group who have once again given of their time, energy and talent to purchase and assemble 400 Emergency Response Kits on behalf of Rotary New Zealand. In particular, I want to recognise PDG Jack Davies whose management skill and good humour has spearheaded the operation. The response from the many people and groups that have given their time so willingly is recognition of the sincere respect in which he is held. The 400 kits now completed has allowed us to dispatch a full container load of kits to both Tonga and the Cook Islands pre positioned for immediate distribution when disaster strikes.
