Shapeshifter showcase new artists

Shapeshifter – essentially a New Zealand outdoor sculpture exhibition, is one of the most important club projects of Rotary Hutt City held every two years.
The exhibition forms part of The New Zealand International Arts Festival visual arts programme. Shapeshifter has evolved to become one of the premier sculpture exhibitions in New Zealand .

Shapeshifter is not a competition or award, but an opportunity for artists who are selected to exhibit, and are able to sell work, at one of the most acclaimed and best attended arts events in New Zealand . The civic gardens that house the exhibition have a beautiful and varied landscape, which is ideal for highlighting many small to large exhibits. There is also a provision for indoor and small works in attractive surroundings. This year the funds raised will be donated to Te Omanga Hospice, The New Dowse, and Youth Programs in the Hutt Valley .
