COOL Nationwide Cleanup project : District 9940 is supporting the COOL project (Collect Our
Own Litter) over the weekend 20th - 21st August. This is a nationwide project initiated by the
South Wairarapa Rotary Club in partnership with “Keep New Zealand Beautiful Week 2011”. The plan for Tawa therefore is to ride on the back of the nationwide publicity campaign and help clean up our own back-yard. We feel that this venture is a very worthy cause for Rotary and will give Rotary positive publicity and a positive image for New Zealand for all of those international visitors attending Rugby World Cup events. If you can make you self available for an hour or two on Saturday afternoon 20th August (or at some other time if preferred) to participate in this COOLest project, please contact Richard Herbert; 8037878 herbert.r@xtra.co.nz.
