What ever the time!

Sydney at night from the 20th floor of the Marriott.
It is late Tuesday evening.  I am back in Australia for a work Conference.  Staying at the Marriott.  Twenty floors up with a great view of the lights of Sydney.  No matter what the time is, this city has it's own magnetic pull and the city has it's own charm - or image - in the mind of many people.  So whether it be day time or night time, the essence of the city remains.

Sydney during daylight from the 20th floor of the Marriott.
In Rotary we need to develop  a consistent image that in whatever light remains the same - an organisation of passionate individuals who are focused on making their community and their global village a better pace to live.  What is the image that your Club portrays?  Is it a dynamic, relevant image, one that attracts new members and is a vital part in your community.  If not, then the power to change this is 'in your hands'.  Through signature projects that connect with the community, meeting in an attractive venue and conducting lively meetings with topical speakers all assist your Club in portraying the vitality all should portray.  Whether it be in the light of day or in the evening as people stumble across your web site. Districts can run national campaigns, but the real connection is what each Club does to promote a positive image.
