Around 30 photographers will
converge on South Wellington this Saturday (25 February 2012) to shoot anything
and everything that moves, and plenty that doesn’t but just looks good.
It’s for a photo book titled “One Day in South Wellington” which aims to document the rich landscape, culture, architecture and people of the Capital’s South and Eastern suburbs.
Organised by Wellington South Rotary Club, the
project is designed to connect with our local community, celebrate the amazing
diversity of the area, and raise money for charity, with the Wellington
Children’s Hospital being the main beneficiary.
The book will provide a
window on the wide range of different things that happen on a typical day in a
typical community and concentrate heavily on the people who bring the community
to life.
This book will be put on sale to raise funds for charity.
