A little planning goes a long way

Do we have a plan when it comes to public image and public relations activity - or are we driven by events and circumstances?
Is public relations something we approach on a professional basis or is it something that we do by chance?  Do we devote time to it or does it just happen when we have the time or the inclination?

If we are serious about the need to develop a healthy and accurate 'public reputation' about Rotary, we need to focus, plan and take action in a targeted fashion.
Who is our audience, what are our objectives, what methods should we adopt and in what time frame with what budget?

Effective public relations activity and the positive results from such activity does not 'just happen'.  PLAN!
