Community shows great interest

The trench was popular.  The multimillion dollar construction of an underpass in Wellington had thousands of curious people come to have a look.  And with a Rotarian having a vocational contact with the project, there was an opportunity to profile Rotary to the public.  At the same time a gold coin collection raised over $6,000 for the support of those suffering in the Philippines.

Little blue stickers were distributed saying 'Thank you Rotary' and proved popular with the young ones.  A great day that hit the national news.
Well done Karori Rotarians.
