A great walk today as we raised money for a
Fijian water project. A great turn out and the weather has been
brilliant. Family, friends and partners joined members of Port
Nicholson to take in the glorious views of Breaker Bay and surroundings.
Some even walked with 4-8 kilos of water in their back pack.
The profile of Rotary was promoted with the banner and a passer by asked me what the group was doing. I was able to explain that Rotarians we were raising the awareness of the need to support water projects globally and that men and women were to mobilise in the next two weeks to 'GlobalRun/Walk4Water'. I wish all the other planned events every success.
