As the Rotary Public Image Coordinators for New Zealand, the South Pacific Islands and Australia, we are keen to communicate regularly using this Blog. It will contain the latest Public Image news. We need to enhance our Public Image. It is our task to facilitate this and one method is using the Blog. We will be updating it on a regular basis. Do check it out and add the link to your Club web site and Bulletin. [PDG Leanne Jaggs (Zone 7b) & Wendy Gabroit (Zone 8)]

A water project - let's turn on the tap!!
Posted on my Facebook page today!
From RI: Take a look at the fantastic global team already assembled to support this event! http:// www.rotaryglobalrun4water.org/ about/
What can we do?
First: Decide to act! Get involved! Encourage your Club to have a Water Project.
Second: Link into this global initiative - and raise money by creating a community event. It will increase member engagement; enhance the profile of your Club in the community; add to the efforts of so many others who see the value of clean water
Third: Get other Clubs involved!! This is an exciting initiative - with many positives and people willing to give advice on possible water projects. Spread the word.
And now on Rotary Showcase!!

The internet - a 'warm, friendly environment'
“I had (and still have) a
dream that the Web could be less of a television channel and more of an
interactive sea of shared knowledge. I imagine it immersing us as a warm,
friendly environment made of the things we and our friends have seen, heard,
believe, or have figured out. I would like it to bring our friends and
colleagues closer, in that by working on this knowledge together we can come to
better understandings.” —Sir Tim Berners Lee, 1995 (Inventor of the World Wide Web)
